RUBCOAT, knee/calf length rain protective attire, is a comfortable water-resistant jacket, protecting the body and undergarments from the hazards of rain and water splashes. RUBCOAT features a ventilated back with mesh lining and aeration holes under the armpit allowing the garment to 'breathe' so that sweat vapour can escape. The RUBCOAT jacket design consists of a fixed hood with drawstring, two pockets with storm flap, a heavy-duty full non-metal zip front, with outer storm flap that has large plastic press studs for ease of use when wearing gloves with an outer storm flap and an internal storm cuff that prevents water from running down your sleeve. All seams are double stictched and fully taped. Suitable for applications where there is exposure to rain, used in general mining, outdoor, and contractor applications.

Packaging, Storage & Obsolescence | The standard packaging for the rain jacket is as follows. Each rain coat is packed in pouch and sold as 20 units in a carton. Store the rain coats in the original packaging in a cool dry place and out of direct sunlight. |
Cleaning & Maintenance | Rain coats should not be left in contaminated condition if re-use is intended especially if potential hazards exist. The garments should be decontaminated before storage and re-use as indicated below: Do not machine wash. Do not bleach. No bleach product may be used as the garment is not colourfast or structurally designed to withstand any bleach. Do not iron. This garment may not be smoothed or finished with an iron. Do not dry clean. This garment may not be commercially dry-cleaned Cleaning of this garment is best done using a mild detergent with deodoriser, wipe clean wipe dry or air dry. |
